BUILDING OUR STORY...
Previously branded as Make Yourself Creative, we felt it was time for a new perspective on things and a rebrand was in store. This shop was born out of the desire to help our family, friends, and community with many needs ranging from new apparel designs, custom woodworking gifts and so much more. With the passing of our beautiful daughter, Ava Rose, we began thinking of ways to keep her legacy alive in our community. Avel & Co. was formed in October 2022 and has two meanings close to our hearts. Combining our two kids names Ava & Eli into Av+El and the Hebrew meaning of Avel is "gentle breath". The kindness, love and desire to live that our girl had in her 13 years of life will forever live within our hearts and with everything we produce from Avel & Co.
